Happy tax day... Friday was interesting in a macabre sort of way. After dinner we arrived home to find people clustered across the street from the end of my driveway where a skateboarding kid had hit a tree. They'd been performing CPR for over a half an hour with no lasting results. They drove him to the hospital shortly thereafter, and although we've heard nothing since I have great doubts he is still alive. Later that same night the wife of a friend who has just returned from Afghanistan for medical reasons also ended up in the hospital with a blood clot. Her prognosis is significantly better.
