For the record: No, everything is not ok/fixed. That's why there is a sequel. Yes, Ash and Emily are involved in the sequel, but you won't see them for a long time. Way back when there were two other endings planned, one made it to outline stage. I liked this one better, plus it led to a better story for the sequel that spent less time trodding on ground I'd already covered. A few pages left. Sequel should start late next week.
