September 27th 2022 officially marks the government’s recognition of the end of my marriage. For the first time since 1997 I find myself single and without any clear idea of where to go from here. I must admit I expected to feel once again devastated by this, but I find myself instead merely numb and unsure of my future or my identity.

At any rate, I’m taking off Wednesday through Friday as personal days to get my head straight.
