Hey. Just some updates:
Sorry for the lack of a Thursday update. On wednesday morning I was overcome with an episode of extreme exhaustion. I made it to work, though driving was touch. I zombied my way through the day, left early and managed to make it home at 3:00 at which point I crashed from exhaustion, fell asleep and did not wake up until 5:00am the next day.
This summer has been exhausting.
Anyway, at the time of writing we are half way through the "Brain Nuggets and Other Oddities" and unfortunately stuck just below the half way mark for donations. I typically reach this point the first day and do my best to coast it in, but am officially reaching anxiety stage. It's also the least total amount I've ever shot for. Going to stick it out and push to get it funded but I'm reaching the point in my career when it feels like I've run out of whatever "It" I once had when I started over 20 years ago, particularly have had to effectively abandon my "Darkling Bright" comic prematurely last year due to the stress of the current political climate and crashing economy. Despite all that, I'm going to try to schedule some online meet and greets to build interest and funding, answer questions and honestly just meet and talk to people since its been a decade now since I've attended a convention.
Anyway, anxiety is kicking my ass, but at least I finally feel rested again after my energy crash yesterday and was able to go back to drawing. Commissions are also still open and available. please write me at haleygrey137 (at) gmail.com to request one. Enjoy the weekend. Pledge the kickstarter. :P

Meant to launch this back in February, but after many revisions, re-thinks, an entire other book I published and much finagling, I'm finally going to try to put out my 2nd Art Book and load it with plenty of other stuff as well including some short stories, both original and others to round out bits of Misfile lore.
